I have little problem with your system, but think it
can be done more easily. All I did on my household's
email list is conceal the addresses of members. Now I
get a lot of email addressed to Adlersburg@...., but
no one else gets them -- besides, I can use all that
money from that guy in Nigeria to buy the Viagra

can see are within sent messages. For example, a spammer can't look in
message archives to find email addresses. The problem is that once you are
a member, any new message you receive will contain the address of the
sender. There is one otherYahooGroups option that I am aware of, but it is
really restrictive, as you can see below:
"(You can ) allow members to hide their email address from the group. Your
group will not be able to use the Polls feature. Members who hide their
email address will not be able to post messages via email. Once you have
selected this option, you may not change it later."
The above option is not viable for this group. If you are thinking of
another option, please let me know, I might be totally misunderstanding the
