Well...this is an interesting set of cross-posts. Mistress Dorren is more specifically looking for examples of illumination - Polish (specifically what is now termed Silesia), somewhere between 1250 and 1300, though given the lack of examples it doesn't need to be nearly that specific. She's also correct that "christian imagery" is perfectly acceptable, and even desired. She does not need the text translated, as that has already been done, and actually the calligraphy is done as well.
How do I know? It's my backlog (July) knighting scroll she's working on <grin>
