There is a fine line between sharing dreams and enabling illusion.

Got this email on one of my other groups. Checked it out, followed the directions and opted out, and thought people on some of the other groups would be interested as well, so I'm cross posting. Thanks for the bandwidth.

      Reposted this from Vardoshavora list.

I'd also like to add that if you haven't sent your preferences in
your profile your preferred "marketing preferences" then you are set
up as if you want to receive any and all kinds of marketing as a
default. Like anyone would voluntarily check "spam me" if they had a
      choice, right?

Anyways, following is the post with the relevant links.

      Dulcy

Yahoo has a new "service" called Web Beacons - these are cookies
      which
Yahoo collects on EVERY site you visit, even outside of Yahoo sites.
If you belong to a Yahoo group, you automatically have Web Beacons
      enabled.

Here is a page describing how you can Opt OUT of this "service"

      http://www.rense. com/general76/ opt.htm

And here is Yahoo's Privacy page, referenced in the above link.

      http://info. yahoo.com/ privacy/us/ yahoo/details. html

I'm reposting these instructions to many lists, so please forgive
duplication if you receive this more than once.

Why, if 'tis dancing you would be,
      There's brisker pipes than poetry.
Say, for what were hop-yards meant,
Or why was Burton built on Trent?
Oh many a peer of England brews
      Livelier liquor than the Muse,
And malt does more than Milton can

Ale, man, ale's the stuff to drink
