          isn't what I'd call a little light reading, but if you can slog through the
          extremely dry sections like the "Selection of hemerophilic species in
          archaeobotanical assemblages" (huh?) you pick up neat little gems of
          information.

          There are sections on the layout of property in the city in the 10th - 15th
          centures, building construction, the birch bark letters, Finno-Ugrian jewelery,
          wood turning technology, and more.

          No, I wouldn't pay a small fortune for it, but for $15 I'd definitely recommend
          it.
