Group Description

This is the Save Indian Family(SIF) chapter for UAE. We discuss about remedies & strategies against Misuse of Marital Laws by wives and posse(namely Indian Penal Code(IPC)- 498a, Dowry Prohibition Act, etc.).

Since UAE has a lot of Non Resident Indians, a platform in Internet coupled with a Volunteer driven physical group spread across UAE is envisioned.

Please Join , help yourselves and others... make this a movement a Success.

***For Newbie’s and the Un-initiated: about the SIF movement***

SIF is a group coordinating mainly through the Net, giving support to the victims of the rising trend of Misuse of IPC 498a and Dowry prohibition Act by wives and her aides. This misuse is happening against Husbands and his family and even includes Elders, Women(who are pregnant or with infants to care for), small children, etc., of the victims family. The accused can be arrested without any investigation whatsoever(since its classified as a Heinous and Cognizable Offense), and since its Non-Billable accused will not get Bail in the Police station and have approach the court on next possible working day(most arrests are intentionally timed on a Friday evening, when courts are closed for the next 2 days, ensuring the victims languish in the Jails for at least 3 nights- and this is just the start of the harrowing ordeal that waits for the Victim-husbands family).
