Conditions have been favorable, but with the storms weve been having, it's in & out. I run a multiude of gear. My Main Radio is a RCI-2995DX, and a RCI-2980WX. Just to name a few. MY Antennaes are a Maco 3 Element Beam on the horizontal side, with an IMAX 2000 stacked over the top of the Beam. Does the trick. I monitor 27.3850 a lot, but run 27.4200. We'll be listening for you and calling you as well. Take care. 73's2SF271. John. N.E. PA.

I'm sure my RCI2950DX is on frequency.
Anyway, been hanging around 36-40 lsb, lots of skip during the day, but way too much traffic. Can't get a word in edgewise. Get a kick out of the rednecks and brothers competing on 20-30 AM. lots of local lsb'ers, and AM'ers on air at night. My QTH is metro Cleveland, Ohio. Anyone else in lower Great Lakes area? Usually don't have much time during the day, busy at work. Skip not good at night , lately. I'll keep at it, bound to contact someone sooner or later. Taking Technician exam later this month. Already set with a couple 10-11-12 meter radios, and a decent vhf rig. Hope to have a good QSO with the group soon.
