Ansett, who is having problems with the 767, is planning to unload the whole fleet of this aircraft type. Air New Zealand, who owns a chunk of Ansett's stock, is assisting in placing the jets for sale.

Lufthansa has ordered 15 Canadair regional jets, and has options for 30 more. The first of the confirmed orders will be delivered in October.

Continental will be starting service from Newark to London/Sansted. (Smart move----anything but overcrowded Heathrow!!)
