      Sukhoi's Superjet is being considered for Delta's fleet. All will depend on what Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, etc. has to offer, but if Sukhoi gets the order, this will be the the first Russian plane to fly for a US carrier.
       
      Lufthansa is ordering the new version of the A-320.
       
      The 747-8 is now out flying some test runs. We may get a resurgence in interest in the 747, with the new version coming out.
       
      EgyptAir is planning to "wet lease"(planes with crew) for any reasonable offer, since they have cut down flights and have less income.
       
      Alitalia is planning to have their safety cards in braille and in 3-D graphics.
       
      Due to popular demand, Qatar Airways has added a second trip to Manchester, UK.  [Yes, a great airport! Speaking of which, there has been less capacity from the USA since British Midland dropped their Dulles AND Chicago trips a couple of years ago. Shouldn't WE be taking a look at MAN, too??]
       
      India's aviation business is booming. Kuwait Airways adding service to Kochi. Kingfisher adding 11 flights. Jet Airways adding two more domestic flights.  
       
      Malta has been starting to refuse Libyan aircraft who are trying to defect, at their airport. Alitalia has suspended flights from Italy to Libya.
