                  Dear Friends and Colleagues,
42 Senate Republicans voted to block the Bring Jobs Home Act – ensuring that offshoring companies can keep their tax breaks.
California Senators Boxer and Feinstein voted in favor of the bill, thanks to your phone calls.

According to Public Citizen, 3,475 San Mateo County workers lost their jobs due to rising imports /off shoring of production over the past few years. Production and manufacturing has been off shored to China, Mexico, Japan, Costa Rica, Poland, Canada and others.

Congress had the opportunity to support working families by passing a bill that would invest in America and keep and create jobs here in the U.S.

We can still close the tax loopholes at home - and end the Bush tax cuts for the richest 2%
THE SENATE IS LIKELY TO VOTE ON EXTENDING THE BUSH TAX CUTS NEXT WEEK
PLEASE CALL YOUR SENATORS AT 888-744-9958 TODAY!
TELL THEM TO END THE TAX CUTS FOR THE RICHEST 2% OF AMERICANS.
      IT'S A QUESTION OF FAIRNESS.
