A while ago I set up a new website on Yahoo Groups as a place for those members of SFBay-Aware who would like to share with each other in an unmoderated forum. This site, AwareShare, will be a place to exchange thoughts and experiences about awareness, personal growth and spiritual practice.

AwareShare is meant to be a subgroup of SFBay-Aware and is not meant as an alternative to it, but rather as an additional resource for those who wish to use it.

SFBay-Aware will remain the mother group, a place to post announcements of social events.

If you feel easily overwhelmed by emails and wish to receive only those emails related to the groups primarily social purpose, then you may not want to join AwareShare. But if you feel its easy to delete unwanted emails and would like to be able to share things with others in the group without being subject to the draconian Posting Guidelines (who came up with those, anyway?), then you may want to join it.

If youd like to join AwareShare, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/awareshare/

Have fun and go to town!

      Happy New Year!

      Doug
