    Greenwood Streetscapes Open House

    Tuesday May 18th from 6:15 – 9pm

    Greenwood Library

Greenwood Streetscapes is a group of neighbors working with consultants on a web-based planning project that will help blocks of people who want sidewalks by providing them with the tools they need to get them.

The nearly $200K project is funded by neighborhood donations and the City of Seattle Neighborhood Matching Fund program.

The tools include an easy-to-use step by step guide to walkable streetscapes, GIS maps of every block without sidewalks in Greenwood, schematic ideas that match a variety of typical conditions in the neighborhood, a matrix of streetscape choices that include both traditional and attractive alternative solutions, a comprehensive list of possible funding / financing options that include ways for people to pay for their own sidewalks, and more.

This is a great way to get and stay connected with your neighbors in block-based  groups and to enjoy the fun, informative, and creative opportunities for both adults & kids at the Open House.

Please help spread the word by printing and posting this flyer and also by forwarding this message with attached flyer to other people and distribution lists in your circle who are interested in sidewalks.

    Thank you.  See you there!
