      G'day Simon

Still can't get files to you via ftp - and yes, I've read the crash page - and searched here to find useful little tips like rename the file each time it fails to upload, etc ... even tried the submit button - sent a 60+MB email only to have it bounced 'cause the recipient doesn't accept more than 60M - ah well - enough griping.

v1.5b911 has been running happily on my machine until I made the mistake of installing Audacity 1.3.14 - the very next time I went to run SDR-Console, it crashed, even before the splash screen had gone away.

Uninstalled Audacity - no change - glum ! Rolled back to SDR-Console b879 - all is good again ! I'm guessing that LAME and/or FFmpeg is the root of the problem - but it's only a guess.

So - the crash dump is now residing here :
      www.philobarb.com/SDRnotes/dump_120201_151003.zip
( I never have any problems uploading to my own website )

Meanwhile, I'll just keep using b879 and trying to work out what's blown up.

      Pete
