Agile development processes are a paradigm shift from traditional, rigid
defined processes to adaptive, emergent empirical processes. Scrum is an
agile process that manages and controls complex product development.
Wrapping existing engineering practices, including Extreme Programming,
Scrum generates the benefits of agile development with the advantages of a
      simple implementation.

A book on Scrum, Scrum - Agile Software Development, by Ken Schwaber and
Mike Beedle, will be published by Prentice Hall in the fall of 2001.

A three day course about agility, agile processes, Scrum, and Scrum as a
wrapper will be offered in the fall of 2001. Contact ADM at virman@...
      for for more information.
