      enterprise supply chain management and digital media, and built one of 3M's
      first Just-in-Time production systems. As president of Minnesota-based
      Poppendieck LLC, she brings her trademark humor and plain-spoken wisdom to
      development teams seeking to hone their innovative power. Her book Lean
      Software Development: An Agile Toolkit (Addison-Wesley, 2003), which brings
      lean techniques to software development, won the Software Development
      Productivity award in 2004.

      Alexandra Weber Morales is Editor in Chief of Software Development, a
      20-year-old, Maggie Award-winning magazine reaching 100,000 senior software
      engineers and technical managers. A former freelance journalist and
      technical writer, she joined San Francisco-based Miller Freeman (now CMP
      Media LLC) in 1996 and spent three years traveling Latin America as chief
      editor (and webmaster) of a Spanish- and Portuguese-language medical imaging
      technology magazine. After becoming Editor in Chief of Software Development
      in 1999, she oversaw its complete redesign, introduced news and variety
      sections, hired a prominent art director and designer to add visual verve to
