      But you can learn from the agile community and greatly improve your waterfall process:
       - Use automated tests; and make sure they are easy to run, quickly identify specifics of a problem, and are run frequently.
       - Use continuous integration;  Check in frequently and fix problems as soon as they appear. DON'T EVER ACCEPT BROKEN BUILDS

      Agree with what Michael said, you'll just find yourself in a heap of trouble if you do that.

      However you can still use agile practices (not processes) within a waterfall processes.
