      PITTSBURGH, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Greater Pittsburgh
      Council, Boy Scouts of America, along with Mayor Tom Murphy and
      others from the greater Pittsburgh area, will hold a special public
      ceremony to honor the nation's flag as it is raised to full staff
      Saturday, September 22, at 10 a.m., at the GPC Flag Plaza
      headquarters.
      Saturday marks the end of President Bush's request that U.S.
      flags fly at half-staff in remembrance of all Americans who have been
      affected by the events on September 11.
      Following the event will be a reception with traditional American
      refreshments of hot dogs and apple pie, provided by Giant Eagle.

      When: 10 a.m., Saturday, September 22

      Where: GPC Flag Plaza headquarters (1275 Bedford Ave.,
      Pittsburgh)

      Agenda: Introduction by Robert Mazzuca, GPC, Boy Scouts of
      America Comments by Mayor Tom Murphy, followed by an introduction of
      Scout troops as they begin to sing the National Anthem and
      raise the flag.
