      Could someone please let me know how I can track down passenger list for people who immigrated from Scotland to New Zealand around 1860s. I think they may have left from Glasgow but they came from Edinburgh so I assumed that was the port most likely they left from. There names were Alexander JOHNSTON and his wife Jane REID and her brother Peter REID. There is a possiblity that Alexander and Jane may have returned to Scotland around 1880s but cannot say for sure. Any help directing me to these records would be fantastic as it will tie up a few loose ends.
