Well, I finally got to see "Iron Sky", and I thought it was pretty damn
funny. Moon Nazi's, a Sarah Palin clone as president, Udo Kier as the
Moon Fuhrer. It was really quite entertaining. I was very impressed with the SFX, done on a low budget. There is no subtlety in this film, so
don't look for it. It's all quite over the top. But Moon Nazis! An idea
that needs to be further tapped! I think anyone who liked Inglorious
Basterds (my favorite Tarantino film, even if, as usual, it needed
editing), may just like this as well. Next we need... Oh no, I'm not
      giving that idea away!

Moon Nazis are old hat. Robert Heinlein had them in Rocket Ship Galileo :)

that last scene was a huge clue. I"m not sure they are going to actually
          do the sequel though.

BTW I gave the movie 6/10

I don't know if I'd own it, but it was far, far, far better than ANYTHING the lame ass Science Fiction channel ever shows. No giant snakes, sharks or poorly done creatures of mythology. And any movie where Nazis get killed is ok by me. Unless it's by snakes, giant sharks or poorly done creatures of mythology. Oh, ok, you got me. As long as it's Nazis being killed, I'm ok with it.

Right, I m forgetting only movies count nowadays :) Destination Moon was loosely based on Rocket Ship Galileo, but without the Nazis or ancient alien ruins.
