                          Leaving gender, color and American accents aside, I thought
                          Halle Berry was a defect in Die Another Day, for one simple
                          reason: she's a dramatic actress in an action movie.
                          She always, ALWAYS seemed to be working slower than the
                          pace of the movie, always seemed to be a beat behind
                          everything else in the scene. I haven't seen Catwoman, so
                          I won't comment on whether she picked up the pace at all
                          there.

                          Angelina Jolie is one of the few outstanding dramatic
                          stars around who can crank up her pacing and energy
                          level to match the demands of an action thriller.
                          Jennifer Garner is another.

                          I just had a thought on the sex-swapped Bond issue:
                          Elizabeth Hurley.
