If anyone is still interested in rewriting the English translation for Kateryna, here is an example. It looks pretty hopeless for a rhyming poet like me. It is more along the lines of a picture book.

      Dear Wayne,

Please find attached the file with the sample of our poems.
Left part is containing Russian version and right part is containing English translation of the poem (highlighted text is what our editor would like to get rewrited as a try).
If you need any additional information or need any additional materials (we have a picture books with this poem and the song) please do not hesitate to ask me.

In any case we need several poets for such kind job and we do not influence on creative process in terms.

      Quack-quack-quack!

      Five happy ducklings

      Quack-quack-quack!

Were hunting for a magic treasure

Suddenly one of them saw a pond,

Shouted: - So many fish there!

      Where is my fishing rod?

      I stay for fishing here…

      Quack-quack-quack!

      Only four ducklings

      Quack-quack-quack!

Were hunting for a magic treasure

Suddenly one of them with butterfly net

Broke into a run after butterfly.

A whole hour was catching it

And quite forgot about the treasure

      Quack-quack-quack!

      Only three of ducklings

      Quack-quack-quack!

Were hunting for a magic treasure

Suddenly one of them from afar

      Noticed a worm

He shouted: - There is a snake!

      I won’t hunt for a treasure

      Quack-quack-quack!

      Only two of ducklings

      Quack-quack-quack!

Were hunting for a magic treasure

Suddenly on the limbs of old fir

One of them saw the seesaw!

      He perched on the seesaw

And was swinging all day long

      Quack-quack-quack!

      Only one of ducklings

      Quack-quack-quack!

Doesn’t give up and is hunting for a magic treasure

Suddenly he understood that he was tired,

He lied in the bush and fell into a doze

And the duckling had a dream that

      He has found the treasure!

      Once five happy ducklings

      Were hunting for treasure

      So who was to blame

That this treasure was not found?!
