I told Holly to look at my web site and if she liked what I wrote, let me know. I got a vary favorable response. I sent her the info she requested.

      Hi all,
Below is a message I received from Sam Houston State University. It
looks like a great opportunity to give a workshop. Her contact info is
at the bottom of this message.
On another note, thank you to all who helped with Editor Day, especially
Mary Wade. The day was a success due to everyone's participation. The
editors all commented about how wonderful our chapter is and asked to be
invited back to Houston. It's great to be associated with such an
      enthusiastic and friendly group.
      Thank you all!

      Hi Vicki,

I am coordinator for the workshops of the Sam Houston State University
Dept. of Library Science Book Festival that is held each year the first
Saturday in November. Every year, we look for authors, illustrators,
educators, librarians, storytellers, and others to present workshops to
mainly school librarians and teachers who attend our conference.

I thought I would contact you to find out if among your members you
might have some who would be interested in submitting an application to
conduct a workshop for our festival. If so, they may email, snail mail
or fax (936-294-1153) the application to me. (Since I am unable to
attach the application here, it may be found at our web site.)

We do have a web site with some information about our festival
available. The site is new and is updated as needed right now. The
address is http://www.shsu.edu/~lis_www/ Click on the link to the
Festival for the latest. We are anticipating Christopher Paul Curtis and
Jacqueline Woodson as our keynote speakers for this upcoming Festival.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
