      Konnichi wa tomodachi,
Does anyone have a list, or refs as to what type of herbs were grown
in period for food or medicines in Japan in period? I am starting my
herb garden again, and though replete with Western herbs, I was
wondering if there are any Herbs-nipponica I should include...

could ask Dame Hauviette d'Anjou. I'm forwarding your message to her
        in case she can help.
