Re: Emperor Qin's Terra Cotta Warriors come to U.S.
is near Houston. A Chinese businessman set himself to create scale
replicas of famous Chinese archaeological sites to teach Americans
more about China's cultural heritage, and one thing he duplicates is
the Qin army. Some of the figures are at 1:1 scale; others are
smaller, but even at the smaller scale, the scope is still very
impressive. They also have extensive models of various Chinese cities,
including a merchant city and the palace at Beijing, which was really
great to better grasp some of the Chinese traditional architecture.
They also had an assortment of weapons, furniture, etc.
