      It's not by any stretch of the imagination SCA-legal for combat, but

      a Japanese armor club, and has extensive information on period
      Japanese armor, as well as instructions (full-size patterns are
      available) for constructing replica gusoku and kabuto from corrugated
      cardboard (hardened with joint cement and laminated with fabric.

      Be aware that English is _not_ the author's first language, and
      some of the instructions and descriptions may sound confusing to
      anyone who hasn't built Japanese plastic models and seen some of the
      wierd constructs that come out of Japanese grammar being applied to
      English.
