      Yeah, sounds like a grand idea. It's kind of the reverse of what I did, however! I have a Japanese device and badge and a secondary badge that's European...serves as heraldry for my alternate, English, personna.

      Greetings from Solveig! There is nothing stopping you from having Anglo-Norman
      heraldry. It will certainly make for less grief with the College of Arms. The
      downside is mostly political. Some people object strongly to Japanese research
      and recreation in the Society. I believe that the best counter to this is to
      do Japanese really really well. This means that you really should come up with
      Japanese armoury for yourself. However, this does not mean that it has to be
      your only armoury. In fact, CoA badge rules make them more attractive for
      recreating Japanese heraldry than do the armoury rules. Specifically, a badge
      can be fieldless which allows for much better recreation of Japanese heraldry.

      Nice standard Anglo-Norman heraldry. The CoA will love you if it doesn't
      conflict with something already registered. Why not try to register it now
      and and take your time about designing kamon?
