      Thanks for the info on the MDF. Looks like I will have to replace the
      table top before I set up the bench. Would Baltic Birch plywood be a
      good choice to replace the table top? I have used 3/8" BB before and
      I'm sure I have seen the 13 ply 3/4" at the local hardwood supplier.
