- Reef Dude, I am not sure its not algea or
fungas?? All I know is it was growing all over my tank. I
was told by someone that it was due to poor
circulation and since I fixed my circulation problem its not
growing anymore. I don't know. I enjoy this tank, but wow

release a highly toxic solution when stressed or threatened. If the
toxins are released it can kill all of it's tank mates and there will
be no trace of the toxins in the water by testing it. I lost two
