hi sakurans and folks with the power to see!

quick, it's w/l totals so far:
      day 1 - 6:3 - 6-3
      day 2 - 3:6 - 9-9
      day 3 - 6:3 - 15-12
      day 4 - 3:6 - 18-18
      day 5 - 6:3 - 24-21
      day 6 - 8:1(!) - 32-22
      day 7 - 4:5 - 36-27
      day 8 - 6:3 - 42-30
      day 9 - 4:5 - 46-35
      day 10- 4:5 - 50-40 - hmm, +10 let's see if we can't move that upward a bit!

so it was another 4-5 day. which isn't terrible, but we did move juuuuust a bit closer to being .500 again. and we had some pretty nice MCP's today, byt perfect scoring kamogawa and Saruyama. that were 7th and 8th overall in the day's standings, and as a result of that, Saruyama, finally after sitting in 2nd place for so long, jumped into the top slot. so yay Saruyama. also, i held onto the 5th slot, so yay me too. :)

also today Saruyama got his kk, so that's two down, with no mk's to counter them. andonishiki looks to have taken the day off somewhat, having secured his kk yesterday. so those two are at 8-2, and then Sarunojima and i follow at 6-4. then kamogawa and sekihiryu won on day 10 to bring them to even at 5-5, so they are now in 5 day bashos, needing to kk those 5 to kk for real. Daifuku, Aminoumi and Rubensan all fell on day 10 to drop to 4-6. hopefully they all (and everyone else, for that matter) can put a few wins together and get back to the right side of the kk/mk line.

      so, today sekihiryu quoted:
Marion, don't look at it. Shut your eyes, Marion. Don't look at
      it, no matter what happens!
and chabo knows this one! wait, it's the same as yesterday. so apparently sekihiryu droned today. but hey, he droned to a win, so yay sekihiryu!

sakuran of the day? there's not many things i like better than a kachi koshi, so i'll go for those whenever i can. plus Saruyama went perfect today, and was top 10 MCP. so how could i deny him? i call Saruyama sakuran of the day! hooray for Saruyama

and with that, here's the bout-by-bout:

      Bout 3 - Sarunojima (ms22E) 9 [6-4] WIN! Heiyu (ms17W) 7 [5-5]
      Bout 4 - Gawasukotto (ms16E) 11 [9-1] loss Daifuku (ms20E) 8 [4-6]
      Bout 6 - Oshirokita (ms15E) 14 [4-6] loss Aminoumi (ms19E) 9 [4-6]
      Bout 10 - kamogawa (ms13W) 14 [5-5] WIN! Getayukata (ms10W) 10 [2-8]
      Bout 18 - fujiyama (J11E) 12 [5-5] loss chabonowaka (J13W) 11 [6-4]
      Bout 24 - sekihiryu (J14E) 11 [5-5] WIN! Terarno (J6W) 9 [5-5]

      Bout 30 - Watashi (J1E) 8 [5-5] WIN! Saruyama (J4E) 14 [8-2]
