      28th September, 2004, Tuesday

      God is Everywhere

God is everywhere - completely, totally. There is no person, thing, action, situation in which God is not present. He is there in every molecule. Everything is God - the principle of the Gita. Only he truly sees who sees God abiding equally in all beings, animate and inanimate. [Gita 13:27]. Like the sky remains unattached but is present everywhere. Likewise with God. Water is present everywhere on earth, but is visible only in water bodies. If you realise that God is there in everything and everywhere, you would be able to lead a very happy life. God is complete everywhere and we are situate in Him. But our sight is towards the body.

God IS and the world and body are NOT. The Self is seeing the body change. Everything except God and the Self are continuously changing. We have accepted the existence of the unreal. This is wrong. You cannot see Him even though He IS. Like the sky the Self is totally unattached - The Self does nothing. All action is done through nature. It does not reach the Self. You have given importance and existence to material things and that has tied you down. Seeing God everywhere is Saatvic knowledge. The existence of the NOT is only because of the IS. Be situate in that which you are actually situate in and you are liberated. It is naturally attained by all.

The process of creation and destruction is called existence. The existence is only assumed - it only seems to be there. In fact it is not. Like a movie reel, like a flowing river, like bubbles coming from a brick in water. They seem to stay where as in fact they are continuously going. Similarly, the world seems to be existing where as in fact it is continuously going. It only seems constant.
