    Student Scholarship Information and Application

    Background:

The 2014 NERR Symposium is proud to announce a limited number of scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students.  For the past 11 years, the NERR has awarded numerous young scholars an opportunity to present their academic works and broaden their views on the academic circle and practitioner world.  The scholarships will cover the registration fee for the Symposium.

Interested students should e-mail the following two items (as 2 attached pdf files) to the NERR Conference Chair:

    1.      A one-page letter describing how the student’s academic and professional interests will be enhanced by the Symposium.  Applicants may also include information on past contributions and involvement with NERR in this letter.

    2.      A letter of recommendation from one faculty member.

Requests for scholarships must be received by email no later than December 9, 2013.  Students will be notified by e-mail on January 24, 2014.

    Scholarship Sponsors:

Scholarships are provided in part by donations from Tom and Muriel More Scholarship, Venture Publishing (www.venturepublish.com), and through donations from attendees at the NERR Raffle.  We appreciate their generosity to our young scholars.
