  • I have a front hub drive from e-bike kit and nuvinci out back. LOVE the nuvinci! Very solid and reliable, no maintenance yet in two years of daily use. E-bike kit works fine - not high end, but functional for my mid-size hills. Would love to see a link to the mid drive that you speak of. • Personally I used some pvc pipe and wood scraps to make "footsies" and cut down an old handlebar that I mounted on a tandem stoker stem to my seatpost. I threw a piece of that foamy cushiony stuff that I cut out of a corner of one of those soft mats for people who stand I n one place for long periods of time, and my 3yo and 6yo moth feel comfortable there. Behind that is a child...

  • Thanks, looks like a sprung Cambium may be the ticket when those come out eventually. Your description is much appreciated. • Keep the info coming, very much appreciated. I'm particularly curious as to how the grippiness of the saddle changes or doesn't over time and wear, and if you find it to be more boon or bane. Cheers, Brian On Aug 3, 2013 11:06 AM, "MikeW" < bayou_ratt_283@^$1 > wrote: My Brooks Cambium came in yesterday and as soon as it was taken out of the box it was installed and I was headed to...

I was looking at the one I have here and the round on one part and squared off on the other looks identical to what I have here and for $3.98 shipped it might be worth a try. If you prefer ebay, they have it there for $3.99 shipped as well. Let us know how it...

  • Thanks, Mike -- looks pretty familiar, and the price beats a kickback for the time being. :) Brian. • A pitch for nuvinci. The range is better in the 2nd gen hub, and it is smooth and solid. No regrets after 1 year of riding it on an X. I have occasion to get on a standard shift bike and an internal gear hub, and the biggest thing that I always miss is my nuvinci. • Hi all, So I lost the foot from my stock kick stand the other day and I really miss the few extra mm of width and height it gave me. Anybody have a replacement they've gotten that has worked particularly well? Thanks, Brian, DCish
