Ever wanted to go on tour with a band? By bicycle? The Pleasant Revolution rides again. The Ginger Ninjas will head to the Democratic and Republican conventions before landing in New York to begin a 2-month unsupported (no sag wagon) tour of the East Coast in September and October. We need a mechanically minded cyclist to ride with us and keep our human powered sound system running while we're playing. The system requires a knowledge of electricity for its maintenance and a good attention span for its supervision. The ideal candidate will also be a great bike mechanic and happy to haul a big load! Food and lodging will be provided, and possibly a small stipend. Send me a resume or something else that shows how cool, qualified and (especially) easy to get along with you are.
We are also looking for volunteers in the cities along our route to help coordinate meals, lodging, gigs, group rides, and local sponsorship. If interested, please take a look at the route
to see if you're in the path or can recommend someone. You can reply to this message ("Reply to sender"), and please feel free to forward it to any relevant body or group. We can also be contacted at gingerninjas@gmail.
