Very cool setup, and some great pics. Thanks for sharing.

I think I remember seeing a photo of a tandem w. a FreeRad, on the
Xtracycle site. Can't find it now, but I did not spend much time
looking (I ought to be working). Links, anyone?
If the Tandem X doesn't work out, consider a Burley Piccolo. You will
need to sacrifice the back half of your snapdeck to accommodate
Burley's hitch rack, but the result is wonderful: a "tandem" Xtracycle
with a hinge & passenger seat in the middle, with as much or more cargo
capacity as a normal X. Plus, when your son isn't coming with you,
detach the Piccolo (takes 10-15 seconds) and you have a standard SUB
again. See photos: "Nic in Los Angeles " >> "Dad, daughter, son, one
bike"/"How do you put a Burley rack on an X?"/etc. in the
RootsRadicals photo section
(http://ph.groups. yahoo.com/ group/rootsradic als/photos/ browse/d6e8).
