      Don't forget that you don't really need a bike that supports disc
      brakes, since the X has the rear disc mount. As far as the front end
      goes, you can just buy something with a crappy RST suspension fork,
      sell it on Craigslist for $30, and pick up a $50 cro-mo fork with
      disc mounts.
