Re: Custom Snapdeck
- beautiful snapdeck, I am thinking of buidling a custom one for this summer, there is a guy in oregon I think who builds beautiful wood fenders and chain guards. I was thinking of having him build me a set to match my bike. Its purple. Broken ankle might set me back some but still debating, anyone have a chain guard on a trek? I dont mind the grease tattoo, but?
Enjoy spring everyone

Make it with both the American standard reflector/light mounting vertical holes and European standard horizontal holes on 50mm centers like Topeak does on their racks. An easy modification IMO which would enhance the snapdeck.

Beyond all that functionality there is one more reason--a long deck is a thing of beauty. It makes that long rear end look even longer. I still love mine even though it has now acquired some dents: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pbchase/3842524358/in/set-72157608546179926/
