I have also done the standard rear hitch rack. To reduce width I pulled the front tire off and shifted it accordingly towards center. Works fine. Sean Sent

Any rear rack will do, just disassemble and remove the deck and the "v-racks" with the bags, so that the bags aren't in the wind. This also makes it lighter

If you work on your own bike, install of either is really not a problem. Last thought, on a big hub motor like the MAC, you ~will~ need the torque arms

I've got the big Bafang on my conversion and it's a horse. Paul @ EM3EV has the controllers with the upgraded FETS, so I think reliability is solved somewhat;
