Question for you
- Good Morning,I am just curious about these scams, don't ask me why? I suppose its just my mind thinking too much. If a scammer was truly a "scammer" why do they keep sending emails EVEN after you tell them, I will NOT send you any more money ! Do not ask me ! I have none !. Why would they keep at it? to me, they should just move on to the next victim?I suppose my questions, help me recovery :-)ThanksLynda
- I never send any cash to anyone on wire transfer or doing favors for "friends" even again for rest of my life..I hope that FBI will catch people who scammed me.

I watched those videos for three weeks to convince myself. It was hard for me to believe so I had to just keep on watching them until it sunk in. It is still unbelievable after a year knowing this crime exists but I am glad I am not involved with it anymore.

Subject: Re: [romancescams] Question for youHi Donna, I have youtubed the Nigeria 419 and have seen those monsters ! why cannot I believe this? why do I still feel like, this man will come home one day? I will say, I WILL NOT EVER send more money or cash anymore checks. I am just doing the "what ifs" in my head nowLyndaOn Thursday, June 5, 2014 1:54 PM, "Donna tweety9999@... Please you tube Nigerian 419 scams and see for yourself who is really behind the picture. It is not who you think he is. He is a big fat fake. A lair. A thief. A criminal. He don't love you and never did. He will be back after you cool down to ask you for more money. Do you want that. Why do you care more for them then your self. You need to love you and forgive yourself for getting involve with these creeps. Stop torturing yourself.

Subject: Re: [romancescams] Question for youWell, I told him days ago, when he said, will you help me one more time and I will come home... I replied "no Fn way in hell !" and then he said, he is crying now and I said "let me know when your done", he immediately logged off messenger. Today, I get the urge to send him a message saying I am sorry, but, think to myself....if he truly loved me as he says he does, he wouldn't have given up that easily. I still feel guilty though, in my head, I think... "what if he is really coming home"? but, then, I say over and over... if a man loves you that deeply, my temper will not stray him from me. am I wrong?LyndaOn Thursday, June 5, 2014 11:52 AM, "Justiceflea justiceflea37@... But in truth it was to play on my heart strings because they only cried when I would say something that they didn't like what I had to say...like no more money. Sent: Thu, Jun 5, 2014 2:26:20 PM[The entire original message is not included.]That happened to me as well Donna, I just wanted him to "shut up" about it, so, I gave in. Also, I am not sure about anyone else, but, this person cried a lot? even on the phone to me? saying, he was miserable and why don't I love him no more, etc. He would send messages saying, if you leave me, I will kill myself and then, when he didn't respond for about 5 minutes and I asked where he was? he would say, he is crying so hard right now and cannot speak...lolLyndaOn Thursday, June 5, 2014 9:24 AM, "Donna tweety9999@... It is another one of their game tactics to guilt you into sending them money.

Subject: Re: [romancescams] Question for youLynda asked: If a scammer was truly a "scammer" why do they keep sending emails? Why would they keep at it?Why would a scammer move on from a romance scam victim even after they were told the victim has no more money?Response:Because the scams are not all about money. Scammers will pressure you to the end of your resources, regardless of the pain, sacrifice and grief it will cause you.Why scammers, scam? – It is not all about greed. Scammers scam because it gives them infinite pleasure and power over their targeted victims. The compulsion to scam is so strong that scammers will produce a scam even if he/she gains no money out of it.The scammers feel a euphoric adrenaline rush when the targeted victim is enthralled with their made-up persona. The scam itself is an ego trip for the scammer. While the scammer is wooing you with stolen pictures, poems, love letters, flowers and teddy bears, you are actually acknowledging his cleverness, believing in the lies, fantasy and illusion he/she builds into your mind. Only the scammer is fully aware that he/she is not in love with you. FA.comScams are about RECRUITING targeted romance scam victims to cash counterfeit checks, allow the scammer to use your active bank account to funnel counterfeit financial instruments, and have the recruited romance scam victim become the scammers MONEY MULE, to provide services in this country and forward; LAUNDERED money, stolen merchandise ordered with stolen credit cards, and to receive and hold deliveries for another mule, or scammer accomplice to pick up deliveries from your house (which does happen). Also, the scammer knows when the deliveries arrive at your home, and quickly the accomplices are at your door to pick up the deliveries. When the stores and Credit Card companies find the fraud, the targeted victims is the ONLY person to face felony charges and prosecution for accepting stolen property.I suppose my questions, help me recovery :-)Yes, questions answered help place closure to the scam and help the romance scam victim to move forward in their healing journey. It does not matter to the scammer that he may be stealing your last dime, nor does it matter that you may need that money for a dire need. This criminal will take your money by selling you false hopes, dreams, and love even knowing that the scam may ultimately can cause your death. Scammers feel NO empathy for anyone.Libelula R.
