Shane, on the reissue score I can mention one excellent idea I came across a couple of weeks ago:

              Move Records (http://www.move.com.au/artist.cfm/337)
have recently reissued John Sangster's famous 'Lord Of The Rings' recordings (originally 3 LPs) as a double CD and among the "bonus tracks" they had the brilliant idea of including all the original album (LP) artwork as Adobe Acrobat .pdf files, plus a video file of John in action. And it's only $26.00 for 2 CDs.

That struck me as a rather neat idea.
