In 1987 when I was five years old I had some surgery
on my legs, and spent five days in hospital. I
remember the room number was 105. Funny thing. My apt
number is now 105.

There was a girl about 10 years older than I am, in
the room next to me. Her name was Tiara, and she had
burned her legs badly while getting into the bath thb,
That's why she was in the hospital. She was paralized
before, and had no feeling in her legs, so she didn't
realize she was getting burned.

Anyway, when I was in the hospital Tiara came to my
room every day and read to me.

I wondered about her for 16 years after I left the
hospital. Then something AMAZING happened. On Thursday
afternoon I was on the bus to Stone Road, and a woman
in a wheelchair got on. After she made sure the chair
was buckled, I got a look at her face. My vision is
not so good, so I wasn't sure, but I thought I
recognized her. Then someone next to her said "Tiara!!
Good to see you." It was the same girl I'd met in the
hospital. She'd be in Guelph ALL THAT TIME!!!

For the last 11 years, Unsolved Mysteries has been one
of my favourite shows. I always loved the Reunion
stories. I always wondered if I would find Tiara like
the people in the show found eachother. Funny, but
when we found eachother, I swear, off in the distance
(or just in my head...who knows?), I heard Robert
Stack's voice, giving an Unsolved Mysteries update
like I'd heard so many times before.

UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
