      Event Description:
Ayann Hirsi Ali will speak at Florida Atlantic University's
Charlotte and Barry Kaye Auditorium in the University Center on
the Boca Raton campus. The speaker grew up as a Muslim in
Somalia, escaped to the Netherlands and became a member of its
parliament. She is an effective advocate of enlightenment
values, criticizing both Islam and the European
multiculturalist mindset that apologizes for Islam's assault on
      human values.

This event has multiple sponsors: Florida Atlantic University
(FAU), Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, the
Women's Study Center, Hillel, and the Palm Beach County Chapter
of the American Jewish Committee (AJC).

The school anticipates a very large turnout.

      To get to FAU:

      1. Take the Glades exit off of I-95.
      2. Go East on Glades until you come to the first FAU entrance
(on the left or North) and turn in there.
      3. Proceed until you come to the auditorium and its parking
lot. Further down there is also a parking garage. If you park
there, you will need to walk back. Chances are there will be
traffic folk directing the inflow. Allow plenty of time for
traffic. There is often a bottleneck near FAU at just this
      time.
