Video clip taken from a BBC news report on Indian police dispensing summary justice, featuring public beatings of criminals (or suspects even), as shown here when a plain-clothes police-woman belts a man and is assisted by a uniformed colleague.

Anyway this is just to illustrate the public thrashing which Condoleezza Rice should dish out to Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential elections.

Condoleezza Rice is a pretty woman and this Indian police woman is a pretty woman - and both can beat the men!

Republicans to have any chance of beating Obama in 2012 are going to have to nominate someone who can beat Obama. That someone would be Condi.

       Condi wins again!
Condoleezza Rice tops the poll of possible presidential candidates for the Republican Party in 2012!

Condoleezza Rice - the GOP's best hope for President in 2012!

Rice would be a good president, more than any other possible Republican candidate, say more (32%) Americans.

Whereas asking Republican party supporters only, they say Huckabee (54%), Palin (53%) and Rice (45%) would be a good Republican President.

As John McCain's defeat in 2008 proves - it is one thing to secure the Republican nomination in the primaries - it is quite another to win the general election against a strong Democratic Party candidate like Barack Obama.

I predict that President Obama will run for re-election in 2012 and he will be hard to beat unless the Republicans nominate Condi.

      POLL

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - About a third of adults in the United States believe Condoleezza Rice has what it takes to serve as the country’s head of state, according to a poll by Angus Reid Strategies. 32 per cent of respondents think the former state secretary would make a good president.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is second on the list with 29 per cent, followed by Alaska governor Sarah Palin with 25 per cent, and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney with 24 per cent. Support is lower for former House speaker Newt Gingrich, Texas congressman Ron Paul, current Republican National Committee (RNC) chairman Michael Steele and former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson.

Among supporters of the Republican Party, Huckabee is first with 54 per cent, followed by Palin with 53 per cent, Rice with 45 per cent, and Romney with 44 per cent.
In American elections, candidates require 270 votes in the Electoral College to win the White House. In November 2008, Democratic nominee Barack Obama secured a majority of electoral votes, defeating Republican candidate John McCain. On Jan. 20, Obama became the first African American president in U.S. history.

On Jul. 13, Huckabee expressed disagreement with a proposed overhaul of the U.S. health care system, saying, "The emphasis is currently on health care. The real focus needs to be on health. The real challenge in America is that about 80 per cent of our total costs are going toward chronic disease. All the discussion in Washington is giving people access to the system. That’s not what fundamentally the problem is. We need a system based on prevention instead of intervention. "
