      You had the advantage of the divorce being your parents so that probably streamlined the process considerably. Perhaps one doesn't have to go through the same process when the file is for their own parents. Whatever, just count yourself fortunate that the process for you was as fast & uncomplicated as it had been.


      I thing we're all lucky that these records are available to us at all for research. The names, dates in them can fill in many gaps as well as help with understanding what happened at the time past and give us a better picture of the family dynamics & people's personalities.

      Wow....I just got my parents divorce records last
      year...I didnt have to do all that...Gave them my address
      and they sent it right out to me........
