I found out about a month later when I was stumbling
around fan sites for fun. Ran into more or less the
same situation when Jonathan Brandis died, though I
found out about that more quickly.

It's always sad to see a talented actor leave our
midst without the fanfare that seems appropriate...
but luckily the fans still haven't forgotten, and
that's the really important thing.
