Career networking event with Don Asher '83
- Career networking event with Don Asher '83
Join area alumni for a unique career development event on Monday, January 24, at 6:30 p.m. Don Asher '83, an expert on career building and higher education, will speak on the ever-timely topic "Cracking the Hidden Job Market." With a philosophy-religion degree from Reed and a master's in human resources/organization development, Don comfortably spans the diverse worlds of arts and humanities as well as business.
Whether you're in the job market, newly inspired to change up your own career, or can serve as a valuable resource to other Reedies, we hope you'll attend. This event is not only for career "seekers," but also for more experienced alumni, who have expertise, ideas, and perhaps leads to share with other alumni.
Don's latest research offers insight and techniques that will change the way you think about and approach a job search. Don's expertise on resumés, promotion, and employment is vital info for recent grads, seasoned executives/academics, and those somewhere in between.
Apply what you learn with fellow Reedies while enjoying light snacks and beverages at the networking reception that follows. Mike Teskey, director of alumni & parent relations at Reed, will be on hand to share the latest news from campus.
