      hai friends,

i make a password to the grub like this format
      #grub-md5-crypt  > /boot/grub/grub.conf

so all the contents in that files were earsed, only encripted password was there.
after that i wrote that file like

      root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.el5xen ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet
      initrd /initrd-2.6.18-8.el5xen.img

after reboot it come still grub and thrown the error
error 13 : invalid or unsupported executable format

the kernel version and boot partition is exactly correct.
i can't understand the error "invalid or unsupported executable format"

i searched in the net and got this message
"This error is returned if the kernel image being loaded is not recognized as Multiboot or one of the supported native formats (Linux zImage or bzImage, FreeBSD, or NetBSD). "

i can't understand this message also, anyother format is avaiable for this line
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.el5xen ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet

my some important files is there.
how can i recover this without any loss of OS.
this OS is RHEL -5 and installed in the vmware workstation 5.

      please help me, very urgent

      with regards..
