Can i ask a favor from all of you? Can you please help me to setup a
small LAN that enabales my rh9 workstations to login/authenticate at
      my rh9 server. I have already installed a rh9 server and a (2) rh9
workstation, and can ping each other using the DHCP configuraion.
I've read a lot of articles regarding NIS configuration but still i
cant figure out on how to solve this problem its hard as hell.

God bless and thank you in advance. I really need your help sir.

          sir,
thank you for the information. but i think samba or
smb.conf was designed to enable linux box to connect
          to windows domain.
it seems that my problem is different bcoz my server
was redhat 9 and my clients are also redhat.
my problem really is on how to authenticate the login,
using the username and password that was saved at my
          redhat server.
          pls...help.....
