Welcome to the Reading, Writing, and Roleplaying discussion group!

This group is for the discussion of using tabletop (non-electronic)
role-playing games as educational tools, in the classroom, library, or
home. For more details on the focus of this group, please visit the
      main page - http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/reading_writing_RPG/

You can also find out more at the project's home on The Escapist
      website - http://www.theescapist.com/rwrpg/

Even when they are played leisurely, role-playing games teach very
basic math and reading comprehension skills. With the right amount of
focus, the potential for learning is enormous. I'm hoping that the
discussion here will help inspire more educators, both in schools and
at home, to see the value of role-playing as a teaching tool as well
as a fun and fulfilling pastime.

Thanks in advance for your patience and participation.
