5/22 Health Thought of the Day (Fasting) Vetrano, 1988
When fasting, even for one day, stay in bed if possible and pamper yourself.
Relax with your eyes closed, or read inspiring articles and books, and take
a leisurely sun bath. By the cessation of most activities, in addition to
the physiological rest secured secured by abstaining from food, you will
obtain your mental, physical, and sensory rest - all of which are essential
to the maintenance and restoration of health. Fasting one day a week gives
most people physical and mental stamina to live properly all week long.
