Good job Len! SO when is AWWA going to have a best-fishkeeping-water competition? (From what I hear Cary-Apex water will NOT be a top contender for that

Group Description

The Raleigh Aquarium Society (RAS) is a group of Aquarium and Pond Hobbyists in and around North Carolina, founded in 1982. Our members keep and breed freshwater and marine tropicals, native fish, corals and invertebrates, aquatic and bog plants, and other aquatic life. Our purpose is to share information about aquarium and pond keeping, aquatic ecology and conservation, to promote captive breeding, and provide a network for trading livestock and aquarium related equipment. We meet at 7:30 to 9:30 pm the first Thursday each month at the NCSU Vet School, on William Moore Drive just across Blue Ridge Rd from the State Fairgrounds. Meetings are free and open to everyone. From the Vet School main lobby, go downstairs (under the whale) through two double doors, and into the first room on the right (South Theater). Speaker program begins at 8:00.

The Carolina Aquarium Workshop (CAW) is our annual weekend conference and auction, held in February. See the RAS website for specific dates and location of CAW and our Fall Auction. We also host field trips to other clubs, aquariums, shop-hops, picnics, and other events several times per year. Check out the "Files" and "Photos" sections of our Yahoo Group (menu box on left) for useful info. Anyone can join this RAS YahooGroup; membership in RAS is not required. Also visit the main RAS website for more information: http://raleighaquariumsociety.org/

ALSO ... come join our new RAS FORUM, started in June 2011:
