      I do use OmniOutliner 2.1.1beta2 (v44) to generate .opml code
      And
      activeRender 1.2 over Radio UserLand 8.0.8 to render and publish it
      online

      So far I'm French, so I use French accents in my OO texts.
      Unfortunately, RADIO DO NOT RECOGNIZE THEM CORRECTLY AND GENERATE
      "WEIRD" ASCII CODE.

      I modified 2 scripts as indicated in the following post as a bug fix :
      > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/radio-dev/message/6646

      It does work if you use Radio as an outliner to generate .opml code
      (script 1) ;
      but it doesn't work if you use an external .opml program generator, OO,
      in my case (script 2).

      Here is the complete test I did operate to understand where the problem
      lies :

      NO RENDER WITH aR :
      A) Export OO -> .html
      Text export : é è ç à ù ê
      Tags generated in .html :
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
      <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
      "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
      Text encoding : é è ç à ù ê
      Render in Chimera 0.6 : é è ç à ù ê
      EVERYTHING IS FINE

      RENDER WITH aR :
      A) Export radio -> opml
      Script 1 in action
      Text export : é è ç à ù ê
      Tags generated in .opml :
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
      <!-- OPML generated by Radio UserLand v8.0.8 on Thu, 07 Nov 2002
      12:30:46 GMT -->
      <opml version="1.1">
      Text encoding : È Ë Á ‡ ˘ Í
      Render in Chimera 0.6 : é è ç à ù ê
      EVERYTHING IS FINE

      B) Export OO -> .opml
      Text export : é è ç à ù ê
      Tags generated in .opml :
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
      <opml version="1.0">
      Text encoding : é è ç à ù ê
      aR/Radio (therefore script 2 in action) then
      Render in Chimera 0.6 : é è ç à Ã' ú ú ú
      BIG PROBLEM!

      OO IS A STRONG AND RELIABLE COCOA OUTLINER AND A .OPML GENERATOR.
      BUT IF I WANT TO PROPERLY RENDER NON US TEXT IN RADIO, I NEED TO USE
      RADIO AS A CARBON .OPML GENERATOR : VERY FRUSTRATING!

      Am I the only one ?
      What can we do from this point ?

      Regards,
      Bertrand.
